What should I wear to visit? As Maisy Battery is primarily an outdoor, open air site, weather and elements may affect your visit. Please wear suitable footwear for walking along unpaved pathways and for going up and down stairs to bunkers and structures. Rain happens and so does mud: bring an umbrella and prepare for possible mud...or check the forecast and visit another day when conditions may be better. Your ticket is valid for 3 days before and after the date purchased for to accommodate possible weather changes.

What's the weather like at Maisy Battery today? We're hoping for clear skies every day, but click the umbrella to check!

Is Maisy Battery wheelchair accessible? While there are some structures and trenches which are inaccessible, the majority of our site is accessible. Again, because our site is primarily open air and open to the weather, rainfall can affect accessibility due to potential muddiness.

Can I bring my dog too? Yes, absolutely! Dogs love the outdoor exercise and explorations as well - there are also many scents to follow along the trench paths. We do ask that all dogs remain ON LEASH and don't forget to bring water for them. Do NOT leave pets unattended on site or in your vehicle. Out of respect for the site and other visitors, please clean up after your pet.

Can I bring a stroller for my child? Yes, in fact we advise parents to bring a stroller so that they may visit the site whilst the young ones are comfortable and secure throughout. There are a few structures which are not stroller friendly but the majority are accessible.

Is there room to park my motorhome/coach/trailer? Yes, we have a large parking area to park many larger vehicles. For insurance reasons, parking overnight is NOT permitted.

I bought tickets for the wrong date - help! Your ticket is good for 3 days before OR 3 days after the date you purchase it for to accommodate timing changes during travel and/or bad weather. If you selected a date significantly different from your intended date, please contact us and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

Do you have a gift shop on site? Yes, Maisy Battery does have a small shop on site with new product being added regularly.
