Individual visitors do not need to book in advance but you can, in order to receive a 5% discount and speed up your entry. Large groups should contact us ahead of time to arrange entry and receive group rates.

While the majority of the battery is accessible, due to the historic nature of the site, including trenches and uneven terrain, accessibility is limited in certain areas. You will be provided a map which will guide you through the accessible areas.

Opening times vary seasonally but we are open every day between 1 April and 30 September, including all public holidays.April, May, September: 10AM - 5PMJune, July, August: 10AM - 7PMPlease note, we are closed for the season from 1 October until 31 March and do not allow visitors during these times.
